Pelosi Says She’s A ‘Street Fighter’ and Would Have Used Her 4″ Stilettos To Defend Self In Capitol Riots

In a recent interview with USA Today,  Nancy Pelosi claims she would have physically battled the rioters if they had entered the House chamber.

On January 6th she was inside the Capitol when protestors breached the doors and entered. USA Today asked her what she would have done if the rioters had reached her and Pelosi replied,  “Well, I’m pretty tough. I’m a street fighter. They would have had a battle on their hands.”  She then laughed and lifted her foot with a 4-inch-high stiletto and said, “I would have had these.”

She continued with her thoughts on Jan 6, “I was never personally afraid because I had so much security for myself,” she said. “I was afraid for everybody else, and I’ll never forgive them the trauma that they caused to the staff and the members.”

Pelosi said she plans to introduce legislation to increase security at the Capitol and that she would support the installation of retractable fencing to be deployed only when “security threats” require it.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. Russel Honoré released a report on increasing Capitol security recommending filling 200 vacancies in the US Capitol Police, and adding an additional 854 more positions.

No word from Nancy yet on this funding of the police proposal.
