Obamas Kindle Racial Tensions With Message Calling For Police Reform After Death Of Daunte Wright

(TeaParty.org Exclusive) – The recent police shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright, which occurred just about 10 miles away from where Derek Chauvin currently stands trial for the death of George Floyd, has sparked violent unrest, chaos and lawlessness in Minnesota.

Hundreds of “protesters” have come out to express their anger and frustration over Wright being shot and killed by police during a traffic stop.

Don’t expect any of these rioters to be concerned about the fact that Wright had a warrant out for his arrest and that when officers were attempting to take him into custody he decided to resist and jumped back in his car, fleeing the scene.

Don’t expect rioters to acknowledge the fact that Wright put others’ lives in danger when he decided to attempt to flee from the police, including his own passenger and those in the car he crashed into.

Any time a black individual is shot and killed by the police they immediately become an innocent victim murdered callously by “racist” police officers. They immediately become a martyr for the cause of “equality.”

The circumstances of these tragic and fatal incidents don’t seem to matter to anyone, not even former President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

The duo chimed in on the Wright incident Tuesday and claimed it was proof of the need for police reform.

Don’t dare suggest it might be time for behavior reform among black communities. Don’t even think about suggesting maybe black people should start holding their own accountable when they commit crimes.

Instead, let’s just blame the police for doing their jobs. Let’s just demand the police do better.

“Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police,” the Obamas said.

Naturally, the Obamas also had to throw in their two cents on the ongoing murder trial of Derek Chauvin.

“The fact that this could happen even as the city of Minneapolis is going through the trial of Derek Chauvin and reliving the heart-wrenching murder of George Floyd indicates not just how important it is to conduct a full and transparent investigation, but also just how badly we need to reimagine policing and public safety in this country.”

They went on to say that they’re grieving “alongside the Wright family for their loss,” and that they “empathize with the pain that Black mothers, fathers, and children are feeling after yet another senseless tragedy.”

Of course Wright’s death was tragic but how is it acceptable to simply dismiss Wright’s own actions and behavior?

Had he not resisted arrest and simply complied with police officers, Wright would still be alive today. He might be sitting in a jail cell but he would be alive.

Obama, in his trademark manipulative way, went on to say that he and his wife “will continue to work with all fair-minded Americans to confront historical inequalities and bring about nationwide change that are so long overdue.”

In other words, if you even so much as suggest that perhaps Wright was responsible for his own fate you are not a “fair-minded American.”

Apparently it isn’t very “fair-minded” to believe that individuals should be accountable for their own actions and behavior. It just isn’t “fair-minded” to think that police officers should enforce the law.

The radical left won’t stop until we have universal lawlessness and chaos all across America and a police force whose hands are permanently tied behind their backs.

The Obamas and other radical leftists pretend to care about black communities but who do you think will be hurt the most by the eradication of traditional policing?
