Former Democrat Senate Majority Leader Issues Warning for Power Hungry Democrats

Harry Reid probably doesn’t need protection for speaking out against Democrats. They’ll  likely just smile and wink at him.  He’s old and irrelevant now.   You’re wise once you’ve retired to just fade away, not to be heard from again til your funeral is published. The current strategy is to make sure no Republican ever gets elected again. If the 2020 election is any indication, that should actually be easy. Just cheat every time.

Democrats can just make stuff up

They’ve done it all along and it’s worked so why stop now? Harry Reid isn’t the only Democrat to warn against this. A currently serving Democrat has warned against it and as expected is now targeted for removal.

Stephen Breyer has just been offered a different position. Since he’s a Democrat, he’s not being canceled.

Democrats have a bigger agenda

Than what these two gentlemen probably want to deal with. Mr. Reid thinks they should be very, very careful. He assumes Republicans will occupy seats again. If the Democrats have their way, that should never happen again.

Harry was ok with the commission but he didn’t think anything would come from it. He maybe hoping nothing comes of it. “I have no problem with the commission, but I think that the commission is going to come back and disappoint a lot of people because I think they’re going to come back and say, ‘We should just kind of leave it alone.’ I think it would be inappropriate at this time after that long history we’ve had in the country to have term limits for judges. I think that we better be very, very careful in saying that we need to expand the Supreme Court. I think we better be very, very, careful.”

Many Democrats in power aren’t worried about history

It’s all about grabbing your money and power while you can.  Ben Franklin may have said, “We have a Republic – if we can keep it”. Men always want more power. If rules and laws set to make sure we can change power regularly aren’t enforced, it all comes down to the Second Amendment.

Stephen Breyer wondered if laws would be enforced. “What I’m trying to do is to make those whose instincts may favor important structural change or other similar institutional changes such as forms of court packing to think long and hard before they embody those changes in law. I hope and expect that the court will retain its authority … which was hard won. But that authority, like the rule of law, depends on trust. A trust that the court is guided by legal principle, not politics. Structural alteration motivated by the perception of political influence can only feed that latter perception, further eroding that trust.” But the Democrats’ plans have nothing to do with trust.
