OAKLAND — Police and firefighters were at the scene of a man shot in an East Oakland neighborhood.
Shortly before 8 p.m., officers responded to a report of ShotSpotter activity outside an address in the 2600 block of East 16th Street in the city’s Oak Tree neighborhood.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to an arm and provided treatment until paramedics and Oakland Fire Department firefighters arrived. His condition was not immediately available Monday night.
No information about shooting suspects or associated vehicles, was immediately available late Monday.
For information leading to the arrest of a suspect, police are offering up to $5,000 in the shooting. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3426 or Crime Stoppers of Oakland at 510-777-8572.
