One of the Democrats’ Biggest Secrets Is About to Be Revealed in This Court Case

Democrats counted on one big advantage to help them tilt the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor.

Now that edge may disappear.

And one of the Democrats’ biggest secrets is about to be revealed in this court case.

In the 2020 election, Big Tech censorship handed Democrats an unfair advantage in the 2020 election.

Twitter and Facebook slanted the playing field in Joe Biden’s favor by censoring a story from the New York Post about the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop containing evidence of a pay-to-play scheme involving foreign business deals that Joe Biden may have had knowledge of.

One poll showed one of six Biden voters may not have voted for him if they knew about Biden’s scandals, so many Americans believe Big Tech’s censorship played a major role in the 2020 election outcome.

Republicans want answers.

Indiana State Attorney General Todd Rokita announced his office was investigating tech giants Amazon, Apple, Facebook, Google, and Twitter.

A statement from Rokita’s office announced the Attorney General was investigating Big Tech for ideologically motivated censorship against conservatives.

“In particular, Attorney General Rokita is probing methods by which the companies have limited consumers’ access to certain content — often deleting or obscuring posted material reflecting a politically conservative point of view. Such manipulation prevents consumers from making informed choices,” the statement read.

Attorney General Rokita explained this investigation was necessary because Big Tech controls the flow of information to Americans and if tech companies press their thumbs down on the scale to benefit one political party at the expense of another, then America no longer has a functioning democracy.

“In a free society, few assets are more important to consumers than access to information and the opportunity to express political viewpoints in meaningful forums,” the Attorney General added. “It is potentially harmful and unfair for these companies to manipulate content in ways they do not publicly discuss or that consumers do not fully understand.”

Rokita also announced his office would investigate Biden administration U.S. Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta over her comments in Time demanding that Big Tech censor more content.

“Gupta, who is President Joe Biden’s nominee to be associate U.S. attorney general, has allegedly met with Facebook and Twitter executives to urge ‘more rigorous rules and enforcement,’ to use her own words as quoted in Time. Gupta, according to the Time article, stressed that it was important for social media platforms to be ‘tagging things and taking them down,’” the statement read.

For years conservatives fell back on the belief that social media companies were private companies and could do whatever they wanted with regard to content moderation.

But after Donald Trump won the 2016 election, tech companies began flexing their ideological muscles and imposing a censorship regime that only affected conservatives.

Since social media is now the equivalent of the public square, many conservatives began to compare social media companies banning conservatives to the idea that the phone company would turn off your line because they did not like your politics or the post office would no longer deliver mail it found objectionable.

That’s why more conservatives are beginning to fight back by investigating Big Tech, looking to strip away its monopoly protections, and looking for court rulings to establish that tech companies can be regulated like utilities.
