The executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport in Arkansas was shot in the head by federal agents on Tuesday after he opened fire on them.
Arkansas State Police say 53-year-old Bryan Malinowski was injured at his home in west Little Rock around 6 am.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said agents were trying to serve a warrant when someone inside the home fired gunshots at the agents.
The report doesn’t clarify who fired the shots from inside the home, but states that ATF agents returned fire, shooting Malinowski in the head. He was taken to the hospital, and reportedly is now on life support.
Malinowski is the executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas. According to his profile on the airport website, he has been working there since 2008 and became executive director in 2019.
NBC News quoted Malinowski’s older brother, Matthew Malinowski, 55 of Pennsylvania, as saying in a phone interview, “We don’t know if he’s going to make it in the next 24 hours. He was shot in the head.”
NBC further wrote:
Matthew Malinowski said his brother was on life support and doctors haven’t performed surgery “because they don’t think he’s gonna make it.”
He said Bryan Malinowski collected guns and other weapons, as well as coins, lived in an upper-middle class suburb and earned $253,000 a year.

Independent journalist and prominent X user “TexasLindsay” shared the following details:
NEW: Federal agents were involved in a shootout Tuesday (3/19) morning while attempting to serve a secret search warrant in west Little Rock at the home of the head of the Clinton National Airport.
According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives, agents were attempting to serve a search warrant at a home in the 100 block of Durance Court in Little Rock, Arkansas just after 6 a.m.
So far, the federal government has blocked the press from knowing anything about the details of the warrant.
Federal officials said one ATF agent was shot in the exchange and suffered a non-life-threatening wound. The agent was taken to a local hospital.
The agents said they successfully shot the target of their warrant identified by Arkansas State Police officials as 53-year-old Bryan Malinowski.
Bryan Malinowski, the Public Affairs Director of the Clinton National Airport.
Malinowski was treated by medical personnel at the scene before being taken to a nearby hospital and as of 12:30 p.m. (3/19/24) his condition was unknown.
Again, any information about the warrant continues to be blocked by the Feds at this time.
[This is still a DEVELOPING story, I’ll provide updates to this thread as they come to light.]
