Coca-Cola Promotes Seminar Telling Workers To ‘Try To Be Less White’

Atlanta, GA – Coca-Cola recently held an employee training seminar demanding that workers do their part to eliminate racial discrimination by trying “to be less white.”

Karlyn Borysenko, an organizational psychologist and activist who denounces critical race theory indoctrination, said she was provided with slides from the Coca-Cola training by a company whistleblower, WION reported.

According to Borysenko, the whistleblower said management sent out an email to workers announcing the “whiteness, white fragility” and “racial justice” seminar.

Borysenko shared snapshots of the slides on Feb. 12, including some which instructed employees to be “less white, less arrogant, less certain, less defensive, less ignorant and more humble,” according to Newsweek.

The course, dubbed “Confronting Racism,” aimed to help workers in “Understanding What it Means to Be White, Challenging What it Means to Be Racist,” one slide read, according to The Blaze.

“In the U.S. and other Western nations, white people are socialized to feel that they are inherently superior because they are white,” another slide claimed. “Research shows that by age 3 to 4, children understand that it is better to be white.”

“Try to be less white,” another slide simply stated.

“White Fragility” author Robin DiAngelo created the webinar, which is hosted on LinkedIn, The Blaze reported.

“[This training] gives you the vocabulary and practices you need to start confronting racism and unconscious bias at the individual level and throughout your organization,” the course description read. “There’s no magic recipe for building an inclusive workplace. It’s a process that needs to involve people of color, and that needs to go on for as long as your company’s in business. But with these tools at your disposal, you’ll be well on your way.”

Coca-Cola did not confirm employees were required to sit through the course, nor did they deny it, The Blaze reported.

The company said in a statement that the seminar is part of “a publicly available LinkedIn Learning series and is not a focus of our company’s curriculum.”

“Our Better Together global learning curriculum is part of a learning plan to help build an inclusive workplace. It is comprised of a number of short vignettes, each a few minutes long,” the statement continued. “The training includes access to LinkedIn Learning on a variety of topics, including on diversity, equity, and inclusion. We will continue to refine this curriculum.”
