The House has voted to approve Biden’s $1.9 trillion pandemic aid package and it will now go to the Senate.
The vote tally was 219-212 and while no Republicans voted “yea” on the bill, two Democrats broke from their party and voted against the bill.
The two Democrats who voted against the bill were Kurt Schrader of Oregon and Jared Golden of Maine.
Rep. Ilhan Omar tweeted “We just passed the Covid relief bill with $15 minimum wage increase. Disappointed that zero Republicans voted to provide support to Americans struggling across our country. We now wait to see what happens to the bill in the Senate next week.

Some Democrats expressed anger at the two Democrat lawmakers who voted against the bill.
Just 2 Democrats voted NO: Jared Golden (Maine) and Kurt Schrader (Oregon). To EVERY REPUBLICAN and these two. WHY? Next bill, whatever rep & senator votes against a bill their state is excluded from the bill’s benefits. pic.twitter.com/zRUuV5OpDU

Two Democrats — Representatives Jared Golden of Maine and Kurt Schrader of Oregon voted against this bill.@RepSchrader is my Congressional rep, unfortunately. #MarionCountyDemocrats–we need to primary Schrader. He votes with the GOP far too often.https://t.co/ChyXzADaXK
