The confirmation of Neera Tanden, President Joe Biden’s pick to lead the Office of Management and Budget, may be in jeopardy after the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and the Senate Committee on the Budget both postponed their votes on her nomination.
Many moderate senators have said they will not support Tanden including Democrat Joe Manchin.
In order to be confirmed, Tanden needs the support of at least 1 Republican Senator, if not more.
