NEW POLL: Here’s How 2024 GOP Field Would Look Without Trump In The Mix

It may be nearly four years until the 2024 presidential election, but political handicappers are already sizing up the field for the Republican Party.

It is unknown what President Trump will do going forward or whether Joe Biden can even make it four years, but a new poll claims it is still Trump’s to lose no matter who may run against him in a Republican primary.

According to polling data put together by analytics firm Echelon Insights, Trump would indeed be the top choice among Republicans, with 41 percent of Republican-leaning voters backing him if the primary were held right now.

If Trump doesn’t run, then the polling shows that former Vice President Mike Pence is currently in the lead with 21 percent.

Then, it’s Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz, who clocks in at 10 percent.

Coming in third, it’s a tie between Donald Trump Jr. and Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis.

Again, polling clearly shows conservatives overwhelmingly support Trump and want him to lead the party.

Treacherous RINO and failed GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romey comes in with 4 percent despite his petty ongoing vendetta against Trump.

In 2012, he choked away a winnable election against Barack Obama, which lead to the four more years of hell and lasting damage inflicted upon the nation in the 44th president’s second term.

Trump will be speaking at the Conservative Public Action Conference next week and he plans to go directly after Joe Biden.

According to people close to Trump, he will continue to push for his vision of the future for the Republican Party backing up his earlier claim to mount primary challengers where needed.

“Look for the 45th president to take on President Biden’s disastrous amnesty and border policies,” a source said.

Trump, according to sources, will vow to continue to lead conservatives in the fight against Biden and the Democrats.

On its website, CPAC said:

Donald J. Trump is the very definition of the American success story, setting the standards of excellence in his business endeavors, and now, for the United States of America.

A graduate of the Wharton School of Finance, President Trump has always dreamed big and pushed the boundaries of what is possible his entire career, devoting his life to building business, jobs and the American Dream. This was brought to life by a movement he inspired in the people of America when he announced his candidacy for President of the United States in June 2015.

It appears that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was not invited.

Trump and McConnell exchanged blistering statements last week following his vote to acquit the president in his impeachment trial.

After McConnell blamed Trump supporters for storming the Capitol, he said Trump could be criminally prosecuted.

Trump immediately hit back at McConnell, calling him “dour” and “sullen.”

“The Republican Party can never again be respected or strong with political ‘leaders’ like Sen. Mitch McConnell at its helm,” he said.

“Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack, and if Republican Senators are going to stay with him, they will not win again. He will never do what needs to be done, or what is right for our Country,” Trump said.

“Where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First. We want brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leadership,” he said.
