YouTube has removed a Newsmax interview with President Trump, claiming the video violated its standards over election fraud allegations.
The Newsmax interview with anchor Greg Kelly aired Wednesday, showing Trump claiming that he legitimately won the 2020 election, and is considering starting a social media platform.
YouTube told The Epoch Times: “We have clear Community Guidelines that govern what videos may stay on YouTube, and we enforce our Community Guidelines consistently, regardless of speaker and without regard to political viewpoints.”
“In accordance with our presidential election integrity policy, we removed this video from the Newsmax TV channel,” the spokesperson added.
This is simply a continuation of YouTube’s censorship against the president.
YouTube had completely banned Trump’s channel in January following the Capitol riot, claiming his videos were in violation of “policies for inciting violence.”
YouTube even removed a video of Trump’s lawyer’s opening statement last December during the Democrats’ second failed impeachment crusade.
Trump said during the now-banned interview that he may start his own social media company soon.
“We’re negotiating with a number of people, and there’s also the other option of building your own site,” he said.
