Ron Paul on passing of Rush Limbaugh

Campaign for Liberty Chairman Ron Paul issued the following statement on the death of conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh:

“Carol and I extend our deepest sympathies to Rush Limbaugh’s family, friends and many fans. While I had disagreements with Rush on foreign policy and civil liberties, I appreciate his defenses of economic liberty. Rush introduced millions of Americans to sound economic principles and the dangers of big government policies like ObamaCare.  Rush did this both through his own broadcast and by having my late friend Walter Williams as a regular guest host. Rush’s  unfailing good humor and his constant optimism should serve an example of how to effectively spread the message of liberty.”
