‘Our Founders Wanted This Struggle As Part Of The Process’, The Secret Life of Regional GOP Party Chairman

There is a new and intense focus on the Grand Old Party after President Donald J. Trump left Washington DC after a highly confusing 2020 Presidential Election, and voters are talking about the failures of the Republican party to defend the “America First” MAGA movement.

Trump brought a whole new type of political participant into the Republican Party, and the GOP isn’t always so keen about it. However, some quiet warriors have been holding the door open for years, hoping more people would join the volunteer to push liberty candidates and take leadership roles in districts to help organize campaigns.

THE LESSER OF TWO EVILS? IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE THAT WAY

Voters often say they are choosing between the “lesser of two evils” but do they ask themselves what they did to help get anyone else to the election?

The GOP is responsible for choosing at least one of the 2, or sometimes 3, candidates that voters are allowed to choose from in a general election, so it is highly important to work to focus on vetting candidates and to volunteer for their campaigns because it seems like the more a candidate wants to serve the people, the less money he/she has to make it past a primary election.

Volunteering for the GOP is oftentimes unrewarding, boring, and sometimes tedious work, leaving volunteer activism to a very select few Americans who then have the real power to choose candidates in primaries.  That is part of the reason America is left with Republicans who are further left than the leftists.

Consider the story of an anonymous Reginal Party Chairman who spoke to me about their work in the party, who told me about the good the bad, and the ugly.

“Out of the struggle of trying to work together with different people and with different ideas, good things happen too, even though it can be exhausting. Volunteers sometimes have a better way to do things, and I always like it when that happens because then they are likely to stay around and get work down. Sometimes it takes many attempts of getting it wrong to build a team, and that is the process of getting the party, and its members to work on these campaigns,” my Regional Chair told me.

Sometimes it is difficult to understand how the party works; there are very tiny units called neighborhood leaders, Precinct leaders, delegates, and then all sorts of chairmen and vice-chairmen. There are auxiliary Republican groups who meet as social clubs and groups as well.

There are State GOP and then county GOP groups that are separate but also conjoined. They can all work together or work on different  Republican candidates and issues.  There is one way to get started and start to make sense, start with your local GOP.

This Committeeman is an immigrant to America who sees their service in the party as a way of keeping the Socialism they fled at bay. This person has helped to organize people in numerous different Republican groups and within the GOP for years.

I would describe this person as a strong Republican/Liberty-loving/ Trump supporter.

“It is often exhausting work.  Sometimes I ask myself why I don’t stop, but to stop means that I would have to accept a loss of freedom, and I just can’t do that.  So I have held many positions in the party, in different GOP groups,” RC said.

“People need to get involved at the smallest unit possible to have the biggest voice right now. People need to get involved in their neighborhoods as neighborhood captains, delegates, and Precinct Committeeman,” the Regional Chair told me.

“In this state, we are in the largest county, and we made enough changes in our region to help deliver the vote for Trump, and our candidates did great. That is the story I want to tell, that we fought it out, stayed together through disagreements, and got the job done,” I was told.

“Sometimes we all have to work together with people we don’t personally like, but we accept that we are doing this for the country and try to stay focused on the job at hand. Sometimes we have great friendships and fun too, but the work is why we are there, and it makes a difference,” RC told me.

“The struggle between people can be productive and our founders wanted it that way. Trump had it almost perfect, but the election was stolen from us, and that is hard to accept, but we had some regional victories that are important that is why we don’t give up,” RC said.

“Sometimes, it is hard to work with people. Sometimes I go to meetings and listen to the ideas of others and go and do it my own way; that is the process. Everyone is disgruntled right now, and the party needs this period of time to rebuild, but that doesn’t mean it is going to be fun. We can’t be looking for fun, right.  We are trying to save the country,” RC said.

“So what if people don’t like you, and you don’t like people. This is your town, your party, your neighborhood; you have to do something about what is happening where you are,” RC said.

The fight for MAGA begins in each person’s neighborhood. There is a growing movement to join the GOP and fight from the inside for President Trump and also for his America First policies.
