Following President Trump’s acquittal in his second Senate impeachment trial, Rep. Adam Schiff, who was the impeachment manager for Trump’s first impeachment trial, issued a statement.
Schiff wrote:
GOP Senators showed us their party is still in Trump’s thrall, more devoted to him than to America’s ideals.
Yet, I remain hopeful.
America was built by those who believed in something never seen before — a government of the people.
It will be rebuilt with the same faith.
