The sham impeachment trial of President Donald Trump has entered its fifth day.
The senators will hear closing arguments, call witnesses, and possibly hold a vote Saturday to decide whether to convict or acquit Trump.
The Senate voted 55-45 to call witnesses, which could potentially delay the final verdict.
Trump is expected to be acquitted after Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) triggered a vote over the constitutionality of the process, which resulted in 45 GOP senators voting that the impeachment trial was unconstitutional.
Trump’s legal team argued that the Senate must move to dismiss the trial as unconstitutional since Trump cannot be removed from an office he no longer holds.
Constitutional Lawyer Norm Pattis joins Alex Jones live via Skype to give his take on the constitutionality of the current impeachment proceedings and predict the trial’s eventual outcome.
