Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) painted a disturbingly accurate picture of leftist institutional control during remarks at a MAGA rally in Dayton, Ohio on Saturday.
Presumptive Republican nominee Donald J. Trump traveled to the Buckeye State where he stumped for Senate hopeful Bernie Moreno ahead of this week’s GOP primary and was briefly joined on stage by the House Judiciary Committee chairman, a staunch ally.
During his remarks, Jordan gave the crowd a reminder of how badly the deck has been stacked against ordinary Americans in a country that is dominated by the radical left at every level from the federal government on down and how entertainment and pro sports now serve as the primary vehicles for its propaganda.

“Well, I would just say this, the left controls just about everything. The left controls big media, the left controls big tech, the left controls big corporations, the left controls big sports. I mean, watch the NBA. The left controls Hollywood, the left controls higher education,” Jordan said.
“The left controls the White House. The left, maybe most importantly, controls the federal bureaucracy. But the left doesn’t control we the people,” he added as the crowd cheered. “And we the people, we the great people of this great country are getting set in November to put the best guy we’ve ever had in the White House back in the White House.”
The congressman did miss a few things with two examples being the military which has also been captured and the medical profession which bears mentioning on the fourth anniversary of the beginning of the COVID nightmare. He could have also singled out the NFL as well as the NBA with the league’s pushing of divisive racist BLM propaganda over the last several seasons.
On the topic of sports, Trump revved up the crowd with a shot at Moreno’s opponent, Ohio state Sen. Matt Dolan who’s a partial owner of Cleveland’s Major League Baseball team, a victim of the left’s cancerous cultural revolution.
After saying that Dolan was aspiring to be the “next Mitt Romney,” Trump slammed him for his support for the changing of the longtime team nickname of the Cleveland Indians to the uninspiring Cleveland Guardians.

“I happen to like baseball, I like sports and I like tradition,” Trump said. “So you have a team called the Cleveland Indians. Indians. They’re Indians. Indians, and they took the name Cleveland Indians and made it the Cleveland Guardians, almost like they’re in charge of a trust fund.”
“My attitude is, anybody that changes the name of the Cleveland Indians to the Cleveland Guardians should not be a senator, should not be a governor,” he said to applause, before polling the crowd on whether they approved of the name change which also resulted in the scalping of the beloved mascot Chief Wahoo.
“Can anybody believe that the Cleveland Indians, a storied and cherished baseball franchise since taking the name in 1915, are changing their name to the Guardians?” Trump asked in July 2021 after the name change was announced.
“Such a disgrace, and I guarantee that the people who are most angry about it are the many Indians of our Country,” he said. “Wouldn’t it be an honor to have a team named the Cleveland Indians, and wouldn’t it be disrespectful to rip that name and logo off of those jerseys?”
