The following article, EPIC: President Trump Calls Out ‘Top People in the Pentagon’ Who ‘Fight Wars’ for Defense Contractors’ Profits, was first published on Big League Politics.
President Donald Trump hammered the military-industrial complex during a press conference on Labor Day.
Trump talked about his foreign policy agenda at the press conference in reference to recent fake news reports that he called dead military personnel “losers” and “suckers.” The president noted that his policy to bring the troops home have offended military brass in the national defense swamp.
“I’m not saying the military’s in love with me — the soldiers are, the top people in the Pentagon probably aren’t because they want to do nothing but fight wars so that all of those wonderful companies that make the bombs and make the planes and make everything else stay happy,” Trump said to the reporters.

Journalist and filmmaker Mike Cernovich pointed out the revolving door between the Pentagon and defense contractors, who rake in billions as U.S. troops are put through the meat grinder:
How dare Trump claim that the Pentagon is staffed with future generals seeking big cash working for defense contractors! pic.twitter.com/SfGJvWj0b5

This is not the first time that President Trump has exposed the military-industrial complex. He has frequently expressed a view of foreign policy that has been echoed by former President Dwight D. Eisenhower and former Texas Congressman Ron Paul.
“I’m the one that talks about these wars that are 19 years and people are just there, and don’t kid yourself, we do have a military-industrial complex. They do like war!” Trump said during an interview on “The Next Revolution” with Steve Hilton.
“You have people here in Washington, they never want to leave!” Trump continued.
“If it was up to them, they’d bring thousands of soldiers in. Someday, people will explain it, but you do have… you do have a group, and they call it ‘the military-industrial complex.’ They never want to leave. They always want to fight. No, I don’t want to fight,” the president said.
Big League Politics reported on the origin of the unverified smear against President Trump regarding military personnel and how the falsehood came from a man who was one of the propaganda masters behind the Iraq War:
The latest phony media controversy to malign President Donald Trump and impede his “America First” agenda is pertaining to comments he allegedly made to disparage military personnel in 2018.
The claim, published in The Atlantic, is that Trump called fallen soldiers “suckers” and “losers” when opting not to attend an American military cemetery in France. The article is based off of nothing but anonymous sources and has been rebutted on the record by many individuals who were on the trip with Trump.
The author of the article is long-time journalist Jeffrey Goldberg, a notorious war hawk who has a vested interest in keeping U.S. forces deployed overseas. He opposes President Trump’s non-interventionist foreign policy to bring the troops home and stop being the world policeman.
Goldberg was one of the chief propagandists who duped the American public into supporting the Iraq War. He was responsible for publishing the fake news that Iraq had connections with Al Qaeda.
He wrote an article in the New Yorker back in 2002 arguing that Iraq was the “great terror,” Saddam Hussein was guilty of genocide, and Iraq had “possible ties” to Al Qaeda…
After publishing his piece in the New Yorker, Goldberg made the media rounds to sell the public further on the necessity of the war effort.
The military-industrial complex is trying to destroy Trump’s reputation before November’s general election because they want a pawn in the White House who will make sure that the U.S. occupation of the Middle East never comes to an end.
