The Republican National Committee is organizing more than 100,000 lawyers and volunteers to ensure transparency and fairness in the upcoming general elections.
In an announcement on Friday, the Republican National Committee highlighted its plan to launch “the most extensive and monumental election integrity program in the nation’s history.”
“The Democrat tricks from 2020 won’t work this time,” Republican National Committee Chief Counsel Charlie Spies remarked in a statement.
“In 2024, we’re going to beat the Democrats at their own game, and the Republican National Committee legal team will be working tirelessly to ensure that election officials follow the rules in administering elections.”
Attorney Spies was the Republican National Committee’s former election law counsel and the Republican National Lawyer Association’s Republican Lawyer of the Year. He emphasized that the committee intended to aggressively sue the Democrats if they were found rigging the elections or manipulating the election laws.
According to the Republican National Committee’s statement, the committee had already filed 82 election integrity lawsuits in 25 states.
“The Republican National Committee is hiring hundreds of election integrity staff across the map,” commented Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump.
“More than ever before because our party will be recruiting thousands of more observers to protect the vote in 2024.”
The Republican National Committee also shares its plans to deploy Republican National Committee-affiliated lawyers “at every single target processing center where mail ballots are tabulated.”
“Election integrity hotline,” will also be installed in every battleground state where Republican National Committee legal representatives can respond to questions and reports raised by volunteers.
“Every ballot. Every precinct. Every processing center. Every county. Every battleground state. We will be there,” said Lara Trump.
The Republican National Committee added that they are now training poll watchers, poll workers, and attorneys on how to monitor voting centers and ballot-counting centers to ensure that the counting of votes is accurate and fair.
Applauding these efforts, President Donald Trump remarked, “Having the right people to count the ballots is just as important as turning out voters on Election Day.”
“Republicans are now working together to protect the vote and ensure a big win on November 5.”
In an interview with Newsmax on April 11, Republican National Committee Chair Mike Whatley remarked that the committee wants Republican National Committee lawyers to be in the room where votes are counted to guard elections.
“We want to make sure that we have the right rules in place to ensure that we’re going to have fair, accurate, secure, and transparent elections in every state across the country,” Whatley said.
