Former Senate staffer Tara Reade, who has accused President Biden of sexually assaulting her in 1993, lashed out over the weekend at advice columnist and Donald Trump sexual assault accuser E. Jean Carroll over her support of the incumbent, accusing Carroll of backing a predator.
Reade, who fled to Russia last year, citing concerns for her safety, ripped into Carroll after she opined on a fiery back-and-forth between Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) and ABC News “This Week” host George Stephanopoulos on Sunday.
“Thank you, @GStephanopoulos for valiantly defending me. I wish Representative @RepNancyMace well. And I salute all survivors for their strength, endurance, and holding on to their sanity,” Carroll posted on X.
The blowup between Mace and Stephanopoulos took place after the host pressed the congresswoman over her support for the 45th president despite him being found liable for defamation and sexual abuse against Carroll.
Reade waded into the feud by reiterating her accusations against Biden, 81, who has vehemently denied the claims.
“A reminder again @ejeancarroll that you know I was raped by Biden when I was his staffer and silenced by the media and yet you publicly support my rapist!” Reade posted.
