There’s a paper trail to prove that the Black Lives Matter Global Network is nothing but “a political campaign disguised as a civil rights movement.” The bottom line is that BLM is illegally using taxpayer money to promote anarchy and destruction.
A paper trail of political destruction
According to the pundits at American Thinker, the 501(c)(3) tax exempt Thousand Currents and ActBlue Charities left a paper trail to document their illegal activities. The organization called “Black Lives Matter Global Network” has been sucking in “501(c)(3) tax exempt support” and using it illegally to campaign openly against President Donald Trump. Will anything be done about it? Laws have been replaced by anarchy these days so the outcome really is in doubt.
Thousand Currents and ActBlue Charities are both fanatically liberal causes and because of their tax exempt status, donors can deduct any cash they pass their way. The paper trail clearly shows that both organizations have been funneling cash straight to Black Lives Matter Global Network, which is “campaigning openly against President Trump on its website and also in other venues.”
BLM leader Patrisse Cullors went on CNN to boldly declare that “Trump not only needs to not be in office in November but he should resign now. Trump needs to be out of office. He is not fit for office.” What “we are going to push for is a move to get Trump out. Our goal is to get Trump out.” There’s a pile of paper which proves they got a lot of liberal money to do it. Somebody needs to remind them, by yanking their tax exempt status, “that 501(c)(3) resources cannot be used legally to influence an election.”

Social media explodes in anger
When a tweet of the interview with Cullors went viral, the social media universe exploded. Responses rolled in like “Thanks, sending this tweet to the IRS so they can see BLM’s 501(c)(3) status should be removed.” Actually, BLM isn’t tax exempt, it’s Thousand Currents and ActBlue Charities breaking the law. “So they want tax exempt status, but they are going to pull this?” It’s all down on paper in the files.
Another reader thoughtfully looked up the IRS rules on the subject and posted a screen shot. Everyone wants to know now what will be done about it. Citizens who want to get involved can act on this information by filing some paper of their own, Form 13909. In California, where Thousand Currents and the Tides Foundation have their corporate homes, they use Form CT9, “Complaint to The California Attorney General Regarding a Charity or Charitable Solicitation.”
Ms. Cullors documented herself into the paper trail with a video she made stating, “we get Trump out of office by leading with bold and creative action.” Besides that, American Thinker notes, “there is more than ample evidence that BLM is therefore using tax-exempt resources from Thousand Currents, ActBlue Charities” to “influence the election.”
But where’s the FBI?
Form 13909 and CT9 paper complaints have “doubtlessly” been filed already but there is no guarantee whatsoever, especially in liberal California, that anyone will do anything about it. Especially not before the election. The FBI or Federal Election Commission officials need to step in and do something immediately, but may not lift a finger unless there is enough public outrage.
Things got even more twisted recently when you factor in a brand new player. Just recently the Tides Foundation, who represents tax-exempt Thousand Currents, got added to the paper pile by taking direct control of Black Lives Matter Global Network. “We hereby provide written notice to the California Attorney General in accordance with California Corporations Code §5913 of a proposed transfer (the ‘Transfer’) by Thousand Currents, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation, of all of the assets associated with Thousand Currents’ fiscal sponsorship of the Black Lives Matter Global Network project (the ‘Assets’), constituting substantial assets of Thousand Currents, to The Tides Center, a California nonprofit public benefit corporation (‘Tides’), which will serve as the new fiscal sponsor of the Black Lives Matter Global Network project.”
The Black Lives Matter Global Network has managed to deceive many people and organizations like Starbucks, the MLB, and the NBA into believing they are a civil rights movement. Instead of racial equality and police reform what BLM wants is violence. “This is the revolution. Change is coming,” they shout. The paper trail of proof is there but will anyone bother to follow it? Your voice in social media could make the difference. Politics is not a spectator sport.
