The two-faced actions of Kamala Harris are almost astonishing, and lead many people to believe that democrats know they have no hope of 2020. The test will be whether or not Harris steps down from her senate position…
But meanwhile, democrat voters are supposed to ignore all the duplicitous and deceitful lies spewed by Harris over the last few years. In fact, they are supposed to be too stupid and hate-filled to remember the racial attacks Harris made against Biden during the primaries.
“I believe them, and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” the California senator told reporters in April 2019.
Biden had been accused by a number of women of inappropriate touching and kissing, including by a Nevada politician who said he came up behind her at a 2014 campaign stop and kissed her on the back of her head.
“He’s going to have to make that decision for himself,” Harris said when asked if Biden, who hadn’t announced a presidential bid at the point, should still run. “I wouldn’t tell him what to do.”
Biden released a video addressing the allegations at the time, in which he said, “Social norms are changing. I understand that, and I’ve heard what these women are saying. Politics to me has always been about making connections, but I will be more mindful about respecting personal space in the future. That’s my responsibility and I will meet it.”
Nearly a year later, Biden would be accused of sexual assault by former aide Tara Reade, which is the most serious allegations he had faced and one he vehemently denied. Harris, who had by that point dropped out of the presidential race, said that Reade “has a right to tell her story.”
“And I believe that and I believe Joe Biden believes that, too,” she said on a San Francisco Chronicle podcast, before saying that “women must be able to speak without fear of retaliation.”
However, she also said that she could “only speak to the Joe Biden I know. He’s been a lifelong fighter, in terms of stopping violence against women.”
“The Joe Biden I know is somebody who really has fought for women and empowerment of women and for women’s equality and rights,” Harris said.
On that same podcast she said about her status in the veepstakes that she would be “honored to serve with Joe.”
“I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Harris said at a presidential campaign event in Nevada. When asked if Biden should run for president, Harris said “He’s going to have to make that decision for himself. I wouldn’t tell him what to do.”
This comes after a 1993 transcript obtained by The Intercept showed that the mother of Biden’s accuser Tara Reade, who has accused the then-senator of kissing her, touching her and penetrating her with his fingers without her consent in 1993, mentioned during a call to “Larry King Live,” that her daughter had problems with a “prominent senator” in Washington.
The Media Research Center also uncovered the video Friday of the August 11, 1993 edition of CNN’s “Larry King Live” program.
Reade then confirmed to The Daily Caller News Foundation that the voice in the video is her mother’s and that “hearing her voice made me cry.” Reade was reportedly forced out of her job as a senate staffer, she told the Daily Caller News Foundation on Friday.
Eight women also have said that the presidential candidate either touched them inappropriately or violated their personal space, making them uncomfortable, according to Business Insider.
The Daily Caller contacted Democrats in the Senate, including Harris, asking them if they would even consider the allegations by Biden’s accuser. Each Senate office was given 24 hours to respond, but not one did.
All of the senators contacted, besides West Virginia Sen. Joe Manchin, voted against the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh due to sexual assault allegations made against him.
