Congressmember Lauren Boebert arrived at the UCHealth Medical Center yesterday afternoon due to significant swelling in her upper left thigh. The statement states that during a CT scan, medical professionals discovered an acute blood clot and determined that she had May-Thurner syndrome.
“Surgeons advised and arranged for a surgical procedure to remove the blood clot and implant a stent to treat her symptoms. This morning, the procedure successfully concluded. Medical professionals anticipate her full recovery, with no major concerns for her wellness and no impediment to her capacity to carry out her work as a Congressmember, according to the statement.
In the 2024 election cycle, Boebert, who currently serves as the representative for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, is running for the 4th Congressional District.
