Six foreign men are said to have
raped two young girls in the middle of Rostock. It would not be the
first case of migrant violence in the Hanseatic city. The police are
looking for the suspects.
Rostock – A group of six
foreign perpetrators is said to have raped two 14-year-old girls in
Rostock on Thursday. The crime scene was the ramparts, a park around the
old town, the Nordkurier reported, citing the police. Officers became aware of the case when one of the girls filed a complaint on Saturday.
“We are investigating the suspicion of rape,” the police confirmed to
the newspaper when asked. The perpetrators were six foreign men between
the ages of 19 and 25. After sexual acts occurred, “the injured parties
were able to free themselves from the situation and escape,” the police
said.
Rostock’s ramparts are a hotspot for crime
The
police are currently looking for suspects and witnesses to the alleged
gang rape. Anyone who can provide information is asked to contact the
Rostock police.
A few days earlier, a group of six people had
attacked a 17-year-old boy in the ramparts. They threw him to the ground
and kicked him in the face. He was immediately taken to the university
hospital for treatment. The suspects, described as foreign, are on the
run.
