While warning Democrats that they can only “lie for so long,” the daughter-in-law of Donald Trump stated on the right-leaning network Newsmax that her father has been victimized more than “anyone in history.”
“There’s never been anyone in history I don’t think that has taken as much incoming as Donald Trump,” Lara Trump told host Carl Higbie, before stating that the GOP frontrunner, who currently faces four criminal trials, had been ‘vindicated,'” as the Daily Mail reported.
Current Republican National Committee co-chair Lara Trump continued by stating that Donald Trump is “faced with nothing but disinformation and misinformation.”
More of Lara’s Comments
Lara’s remarks coincide with the Republican National Committee’s hard shift toward promoting allegations of “massive fraud” during the 2020 election, which President Joe Biden won over Donald Trump.
CNN reports that the robocall featuring Lara and addressed to 145,000 electors in the initial week of April makes the ‘ massive fraud’ allegations.
“We all know the problems. No photo IDs, unsecured ballot drop boxes, mass mailing of ballots, and voter rolls chock full of deceased people and non-citizens are just a few examples of the massive fraud that took place,” Lara says on the call.
“If Democrats have their way, your vote could be canceled out by someone who isn’t even an American citizen.”
“I’m sure you agree with co-chair Trump that we cannot allow the chaos and questions of the 2020 election to ever happen again,” Lara goes on.
Other Political Figures’ Take
CNN reported earlier this month that prospective Republican National Committee employees were called upon during the interviewing process to affirm their faith in the legitimacy of the 2020 election.
The left and some political figures, including former Attorney General William Barr, have asserted that there is no evidence that the 2020 election was tainted with corruption involving Trump appointees and Republicans.
Sixty court cases were filed by Trump supporters in six states in relation to the election, and all have been discharged.
The Republican National Committee voted to appoint the leadership team hand-picked by Trump last month, completing his takeover of the national party as the former president prepares to be renominated as the GOP nominee.
The Trump campaign has pledged not to use the Republican National Committee to fund his escalating personal legal expenses. However, internal opposition to Trump and his lieutenants’ control of the party’s fundraising and political machinery will be minimal, if any.
“The Republican National Committee is going to be the vanguard of a movement that will work tirelessly every single day to elect our nominee, Donald J. Trump, as the 47th President of the United States,” Whatley told Republican National Committee members in a speech after being elected.
