CV NEWSFEED // Catholics on social media have been expressing joy and congratulations for Tammy Peterson following her entrance into the Catholic Church Saturday.
Peterson was officially welcomed into the Church during the Easter Vigil Mass at Holy Rosary Parish in Toronto, where she was joined by her husband, Dr. Jordan Peterson, and her confirmation sponsor, Queenie Yu.
Photographs of the event went viral on social media, receiving thousands of likes, and well-wishes.
Many Catholics on X, formerly known as Twitter, have expressed their happiness at Peterson’s “homecoming,” as Catholic journalist Sheila Nonato called it in her report for the Catholic Register.
For his part, Dr. Peterson has reposted multiple stories covering his wife’s conversion, and even posted a personal message on X, congratulating her “for becoming a Catholic girl.”
Peterson’s conversion story began while she was battling cancer in 2015 when she was miraculously healed after being told she would only have ten months left to live—she attributes this occurrence to her newfound devotion to the Rosary, and a novena which she had been praying at the time to St Josemaria Escriva.
