Former First Lady Michelle Obama took to social media to advertise her brother’s new podcast “Ways to Win,” which will debut with an interview with former President Barack Obama.
Michelle’s brother, Craig Robinson, a college basketball coach and broadcaster as well as a star college basketball player in the 80s, launched “Ways to Win” this week and started with an interview between two very close friends.
Robinson and Barack Obama have been close ever since the former President began dating Michelle when the two worked at the same law firm.
In an interview with Esquire, Robinson explained, “When I played basketball with Barack, he was quietly confident, which means he had good self-esteem without being cocky… He had natural leadership ability, because he didn’t just pass me the ball because he was dating my sister. Whenever a player gets tired, he reverts back to the player he truly is. That’s how you tell. And we played for hours. That’s how I could tell.”
Robinson is heavily involved in the world of college basketball as he serves as the Executive Director of the National Association of Basketball Coaches.
It’s truly remarkable just how much media both Barack and Michelle Obama are involved in. It has been the better part of a decade since they left the White House and they have managed to make themselves a fixture of the culture.
