A Georgia couple was arrested earlier this month month on child abuse charges after their 2-month-old son was found unresponseve in their home.
The boy was taken to Martin Army Community Hospital by the parents, 26-year-old Scott Sartin and 24-year-old Jada Sartin, and he and his twin sister were later admitted to Children’s Hospital of Atlanta, according to WRBL
The couple’s third child, a 2-year-old boy, was evaluated and released.
The Sartins were arrested on several family violence charges — two counts of aggravated battery, two counts of first degree cruelty to children, and two counts of second degree cruelty to children.
Police cited the severity of the injuries to the children in warrants for their arrests but did not describe the injuries.
