Despite all the publicity from his left-wing media cohorts, Rob Reiner’s co-produced documentary “God & Country” was just a blip on the radar.
In fact, the anti-Christian film, “God & Country: The Rise of Christian Nationalism,” grossed a whopping $60,464 – and that’s worldwide.
According to Box Office Mojo, the film was released in just 85 theaters and scored $38,415 on its opening in February.
Despite Endorsements from CNN & MSNBC, Rob Reiner’s far-left expose on Christian Nationalism, God & Country only grossed $60,464 worldwide

Evidently, audiences were not interested in the biased messaging that vilified Christians and supporters of former President Donald Trump, a frequent target of Reiner’s rants. Despite the hype and the fact that it is an election year, “God & Country” just did not appeal.
“Basically, that’s fewer than 7,000 tickets sold in a country of 350 million,” Breitbart’s John Nolte reported. With 7,000 tickets sold in 85 theaters, that works out to about 82 tickets per theater. But…If you divide those 82 tickets per theater by 23 days, that’s an average of 3.5 tickets per day.”
“From director Dan Partland and producer Rob Reiner, GOD and COUNTRY looks at the implications of Christian Nationalism and how it distorts not only our constitutional republic, but Christianity itself,” the film’s storyline explains.
“Featuring prominent Christian thought leaders, GOD and COUNTRY asks this question: What happens when a faith built on love, sacrifice, and forgiveness grows political tentacles, conflating power, money, and belief into hyper-nationalism?” it adds.
A blistering review by The Christian Post in February called out the documentary as “a schizophrenic, partisan broadside against conservative Christians” and accused the filmmakers of revealing “either their profound ignorance or their cynical desire to assign the pejorative Christian nationalist label as widely as possible.”
If the box office numbers did not provide enough amusement, social media comments heaped on the mockery.
By the way Rob Reiner’s “God and Country: The Rise of Christian Nationalism” has grossed less than $70K in the theaters. This breaks down to 7,000 tickets sold – over 23 days. That’s generously 3.5 tickets per day.

Well @robreiner should FINALLY understand that his perverse view of the world is NOT consistent with American views. Sad that he has NO capacity for reflection.

My God, this is a case study.
When you’re consumed with unbridled hatred for someone or some thing, be very careful that you dont let it become your Master.
This guy has made some great films…I hope his TDS was worth it.

Think he’ll learn anything?

Relying on what he thinks to be the pulse of the American people, Reiner produces a film that flatlines at the box office.
