A “customer” argued with a drive-thru worker at a Chicago fast food restaurant early Wednesday morning and shot her.
The 20-year-old woman was taken to a hospital in fair condition with a gunshot wound to her right arm, WMAQ reported.
Police didn’t say how many shots the gunman fired, but at least one shattered a window, according to WGN. Crime scene technicians were on the scene taking photos of at least one shell casing in the parking lot.
Police have not made any arrests.
The shooting took place just before 1 a.m. at a Wendy’s in the city’s Chatham neighborhood. The victim was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
