William Barr Asked Trump to Do One Thing. Trump’s Answer Could End Barr’s Career

The media and Democrats are trying to drive a wedge between Donald Trump and Attorney General William Barr.

And liberals cheered one of their biggest wins in trying to get rid of the Attorney General.

That’s because William Barr asked Trump to do one thing. Trump’s answer could end Barr’s career.

William Barr and President Trump have been at war with one another this week.

Trump continues to speak out against the unjust accusations and trials laid against his former colleagues.

But Barr is seeking to silence him.

The Attorney General sent out a warning to the President urging him to stop speaking out on department matters.

Daily Wire reports:

“I think it’s time to stop the tweeting about Department of Justice criminal cases,” Barr told ABC News. “Public statements and tweets made about the department, about our people in the department, our men and women, about cases pending in the department, and about judges before whom we have cases, make it impossible for me to do my job and to assure the courts and the prosecutors in the department that we’re doing our work with integrity.”

But this statement was met with much backlash from the President. He hit back at Barr with a series of tweets.

He later spoke to reporters regarding the matter and his authority over Barr.

ABC News reports:

On Tuesday, Trump had pointedly pushed back on Barr, who as attorney general is traditionally viewed as the nation’s chief law enforcement officer.

“I’m allowed to be totally involved,” Trump said. “I’m actually, I guess, the chief law enforcement officer of the country. But I’ve chosen not to be involved.”

Many conservatives are also speaking up and calling for the President to “clean house,” clearing out those who try to sabotage his work.

As the president continued to ignore appeals from the attorney general, he faces the possibility of Barr acting on his warnings. Barr told people close to Trump Tuesday that he is considering resigning over the tweets that Barr had previously said make it “impossible” to do his job, sources tell ABC News.

All of this online turmoil follows more than a week of Trump openly expressing his outrage at the case against his longtime ally Roger Stone, who is scheduled to be sentenced Thursday morning for lying to Congress, obstructing a congressional inquiry and witness tampering.

Last week, the president took to Twitter criticizing the sentencing recommendation made by the DOJ calling it “horrible and very unfair.”

Trump will not be deterred by any threat.

He came to Washington to do one job and one job only, to make this country great again.

He will continue to fight the corruption that has been allowed to take root in Washington.

Trump fights for the American people, and will not let the DC swamp stop that.
