BRADFORD, YORKSHIRE – In a disturbing incident, a woman lost her life in broad daylight while walking her baby in Bradford, Yorkshire, England. On April 6, the 27-year-old female victim was reportedly stabbed multiple times as she strolled with her child. Despite being promptly transported to a hospital, she succumbed to her injuries. Police have confirmed that the baby was unharmed.
Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson of West Yorkshire Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team has underscored the shocking nature of the incident, which occurred in a busy area and was witnessed by many. Authorities are presently conducting extensive inquiries to arrest the suspect, Habibur Masum, aged 25, understood to have been known to the victim.
Released footage of Masum’s last sighting showed him dressed in a gray, white, and black coat, light blue or gray sweatpants, and maroon sneakers, with his hood up.
Acknowledging the fear this incident has sparked in the community, Atkinson reiterated the commitment of the police to investigating this gruesome crime and ensuring justice.
The police are now seeking assistance from the public, encouraging anyone with potential dashcam footage or any information, however trivial they might deem it, to come forward and support their ongoing investigation.
