Police in Iowa City are searching for a 12-year-old boy who hasn’t been seen in more than a week.
According to the Iowa Department of Public Safety, Jaylin Brown was last seen on March 1 as he got on a school bus in Iowa City. He never returned home.
Iowa City Police are asking for the public’s help to find a missing teen who was last seen nine days ago. 12-year-old Jaylin Brown left on the bus for school on Friday, March 1, and has not returned home.

Brown is described as a Black male who stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 125 pounds. He was last seen wearing black pants with white stripes, a gray hooded sweatshirt, and carrying a black backpack.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Joint Emergency Communications Center by calling 319-356-6800.
