Someone Recorded Their Cat Saying “Well, Hi!” in a Southern Accent, and I Cannot Stop Watching

If you were looking for a great break from politics, this cat video is the best we’ve seen in a very long time. It is always great to take a break from that which makes us want to cry, to giver us instead a laugh! THIS is priceless, and the mother of all feline-centric videos!

The video comes from an Instagram account under the handle gambino_911. After the camera panning through the house for a few seconds, it comes across the cat, who literally says, “Well, HI!” in a southern accent!

Laughter is the best medicine, and this is a very big pill! I promise we will get back to primaries and impeachments, but first, take the time to put this into your social media feeds so that others can laugh as well!

Gambino’s owner shared the hilarious video of his “greeting” to her various social channels, and naturally, it’s already going viral on TikTok with more than 1.3 million likes. Watch until the end for the laugh we all desperately need today.

I just kept playing it over and over, because It makes me giggle every time. Did you?

Seriously, the Southern Accent is there as well!

Laughter is the best medicine, and that is why owning a cat is very healthy. I am writing as my Fiona sits next to me, as she always does as I work. In fact, wherever I am during the day, that loyal little female is at my side, including when I… well, never-mind.

I have to tell you about this cat tho. Fiona is the best I ever had.

When I moved to my home on Cedar Creek Lake, in Texas 3 years ago, I had planned on getting a kitten! I made the mistake of going to the pet store for a Beta Fish. As I walked by the cat cage, here was this two year old cat. Now, I wanted a kitten, but Fiona got up from the back of the cage, and came to the front, and greeted me. Now, it was all over, I had to take her home.

Now we have a LOT of people in our home. We have people over for dinner, Bible Study, cards, Christmas and Thanksgiving parties… We just always have people in our home.

Most cats, run when strangers come! Not Fiona, she is the hostess! She greets everyone, friend and stranger. When we have our Christmas party, that averages 30 every year, she does not miss a one. She goes from chair to chair, visiting and welcoming everyone.

She sits in the chair with us when we play cards, making sure nobody is cheating. She even poses for promoting reading and literacy!

She is just amazing! Now, how do I get her to say, ‘Well, Hi!’ with a Texas Accent!!! Guess I will have to work on that one.

Cats are hilarious. Really. Just ask the internet. They do the cutest, sweetest things you can imagine. They can really lower their humans’ stress levels. Nothing beats coming home after a challenging day and watching your cat romp around after their toys, acting like a clown.

So, here’s to cats, especially one that has a Southern Accent!
