Dem Impeachment Witness Takes a Cheap Shot at First Son Barron Trump

Democrat witness Pamela Karlan took a cheap shot at First Son Barron Trump during the House Judiciary Impeachment hearing Wednesday, saying that the president can call his 13-year-old son Barron, “but he can’t make him a baron.”

The Judiciary Committee kicked off its first hearing Wednesday morning to examine the constitutional grounds for impeachment, including what constitutes bribery, high crimes and misdemeanors and whether President Donald Trump’s actions have met those definitions.

Karlan, a left-wing professor of law at Stanford Law School, blurted out the insult to make the brilliant and unique point that President Trump isn’t a king.

“Contrary to what President Trump has said, Article II does not give him the power to do anything he wants and I’ll just give you one example that shows you the difference between him and a king—which is, the Constitution says there can be no titles of nobility. So while the president can name his son Barron, he can’t make him a baron,” Karlan scoffed.

In 2009, President Obama reportedly considered replacing retiring U.S. Supreme Court Justice David Souter with Karlan, which would have made her the first openly gay justice on the Supreme Court.

She has donated to both Hillary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren and has advocated for Trump’s impeachment for over two years.

The Resistance warrior was once on a panel in which she explained that she walks across the street rather than walk by the Trump Hotel in Washington DC. When asked if she’d ever stayed there, she exclaimed, “God no!”

All three witnesses called by the Democrats to appear at the hearing Wednesday are far-left ideologues who despise the president.

On the other hand, the Republican’s sole witness, George Washington University law professor Jonathan Turley, is not a Republican, nor a Trump voter or supporter. But after reviewing all the facts, he cautioned lawmakers against impeaching the president.

In his opening statement, Turley said that to impeach Trump based on the current evidence “would be to expose every future president to the same type of inchoate impeachment.”
