Fatally Wounded by Tulsi Gabbard’s Attacks, Kamala Harris Drops Out of Presidential Race

The following article, Fatally Wounded by Tulsi Gabbard’s Attacks, Kamala Harris Drops Out of Presidential Race, was first published on Big League Politics.

U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA), once believed to be a front-runner to win the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, has officially bowed out of the race today.

“I don’t think anyone on my team was expecting this,” one worker told HuffPo, who indicated that the news was shocking despite Harris dropping like a stone in the polls.

Harris sent the following email out to her staffers today:

My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.

I’m not a billionaire. I can’t fund my own campaign. And as the campaign has gone on, it’s become harder and harder to raise the money we need to compete.

In good faith, I can’t tell you, my supporters and volunteers, that I have a path forward if I don’t believe I do.

So, to you my supporters, it is with deep regret ― but also with deep gratitude ― that I am suspending my campaign today.

Harris was near the top of the polls before a contentious exchange at the second presidential debate with Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii wounded her, and she was never able to recover her lost momentum as a result.

“She put over 1,500 people in jail for weed violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked weed,” Gabbard said about Harris at the debate over the summer.

Mommy Tulsi’s take-down of Harris can be seen here:

Harris attempted to clap back at Gabbard during a presidential debate last month in a futile attempt to regain lost momentum for her campaign.

“I think that it’s unfortunate that we have someone on this stage that is attempting to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States, who during the Obama administration spent four years full time on Fox News criticizing President Obama,” Harris said about Gabbard.

“When Donald Trump was elected, not even sworn in, she buddied up to Steve Bannon to get a meeting with Donald Trump in the Trump Tower,” Harris added, which prompted Gabbard to call the attacks “ridiculous.”

“What Senator Harris is doing is unfortunately continuing to traffic in lies and smears and innuendos because she cannot challenge the substance of the argument that I’m making,” Gabbard responded.

Gabbard added that Harris’ vitriol toward her “only makes me guess that she will as president continue the status quo, continue the Bush-Clinton-Trump foreign policy of regime change wars, which is deeply destructive.”

Harris’ presidential ambitions have been in shambles for quite some time, which prompted a worker who resigned to trash the campaign last week.

Former Harris worker Kelly Mehlenbacher said that she had “never seen an organisation treat its staff so poorly … I no longer have confidence in our campaign or its leadership. The treatment of our staff over the last two weeks was the final straw.”

The Harris campaign has mercifully come to an end, and Gabbard – who has drawn the ire of her own party’s establishment for her quixotic views – deserves the credit for sinking the vehemently anti-white, anti-constitutional candidate.
