New Ads Ask Peterson and Craig to Drop Campaign to Impeach Trump

The American Action Network (AAN) which is described as a center-right “action tank” has launched a new TV and digital campaign urging citizens to contact Minnesota Congressman Collin Peterson and Congresswoman Angie Craig and ask them to let the voters decide the next election instead of pursuing the impeachment.

Previously AAN ran advertisements asking voters to oppose the Nancy Pelosi Drug Plan which many say decrease access for life-saving medication.

The new TV ad criticizes Collin Peterson for running as a moderate independent but has failed to lead on such issues like border security and increasing trade opportunities for farmers in his district.

Additionaly AAN is launching a similar digital campaign asking citizens to email first term Congresswoman Angie Craig to stop spending time on the impeachment.

“The left has admitted time and time again that impeachment isn’t about the facts, it’s about damaging President Trump for their political ends. But in America, voters should decide elections for themselves,” said AAN President Dan Conston. “Members of Congress need to stand up, vote no, and get back to work on the issues Americans care about, like passing a new trade deal, creating good jobs, and securing our border.”
