Megyn Kelly, host at SiriusXM, vigorously criticized ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos on Monday, particularly focusing on his history with rape victims.
The host’s criticism came after a tense exchange on Sunday where Rep. Nancy Mace accused Stephanopoulos of “shaming” her, prompting Kelly to delve into his past.
Kelly slammed Stephanopoulos for being “out of line” during the interview.
“You were offensive. Especially when the your guy, Joe Biden, has been accused of rape as well,” said Kelly. “George, trust me. I know. I interviewed his alleged victim. Maybe you missed it. Because ABC, where you are and were the chief political correspondent, was the only network not to acknowledge or run a single soundbite from our blockbuster interview when it hit and made international headlines.”
Kelly accused Stephanopoulos of starting the exchange by bringing up Mace’s rape at 16, undermining the portrayal that Mace raised it to deflect questions. She accused him of shoving the issue in Mace’s face and demanding an explanation of her support for Trump.

The SiriusXM continued her rebuke, questioning Stephanopoulos’ reluctance to discuss his past behavior and accusing him of avoiding the topic in his discussion with Nancy Mace.
Kelly highlighted Stephanopoulos’ apparent concern for victims being publicly attacked, emphasizing the purpose was to “destroy any woman that would challenge Bill Clinton.”
She then played a clip from the 1993 documentary, “The War Room,” underscoring Stephanopoulos’ influential role during the 1992 presidential campaign.
The conservative commentator condemned Stephanopoulos as Clinton’s “attack dog,” specifically citing his role when Paula Jones accused Clinton of exposing himself. Kelly criticized Stephanopoulos and his “well-funded team” for targeting women with “no power” and “no connections.”
Kelly labeled Stephanopoulos a perennial hack who, despite attempts to present as an objective arbiter of truth, has consistently demonstrated bias.
She claimed that Stephanopoulos readily bullies a rape victim for supporting a Republican, while allegations against Democrats are conveniently ignored or dismissed.
