After several liberal NBC hosts had meltdowns over the network’s hiring of former Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel, the network caved to their whining and fired her.
According to The Hill, former President Donald Trump seized the moment and took several shots at the former party chair in a Truth Social post.
McDaniel had signed a $300,000 per year contract with the network, and only lasted a few days before the network gave her the boot.
“Wow! Ronna McDaniel got fired by Fake News NBC. She only lasted two days, and this after McDaniel went out of her way to say what they wanted to hear,” Trump wrote.
He added, “It leaves her in a very strange place, it’s called NEVER NEVERLAND, and it’s not a place you want to be.”

The former president continued his criticism, but also took aim at NBC’s executives, calling them “weak.”
“These Radical Left Lunatics are CRAZY, and the top people at NBC ARE WEAK,” Trump continued. “They were BROKEN and EMBARRASSED by LOW RATINGS, HIGHLY OVERPAID, ‘TALENT.’ BRING BACK FREE AND FAIR PRESS.”
Trump’s point about the network being “weak” was on full display after it fired McDaniel, as NBCUniversal News Group Chair Cesar Conde released a pathetic statement in the wake of the debacle.
He apologized for hiring McDaniel, and explained the decision “was made because of our deep commitment to presenting our audiences with a widely diverse set of viewpoints and experiences, particularly during these consequential times.”
Conde was widely mocked across social media for the unbelievably pathetic apology to the network for hiring a contributor with a different viewpoint on politics.
“How sad. @NBCNews execs felt the need to “apologize” for hiring someone with-gasp-a different political point of view. Beyond pathetic,” one X user wrote.
Another X user wrote, “In NBCs statement Conde said “ he acknowledged McDaniel’s hiring had undermined the goal of a “cohesive and aligned” newsroom and offered an apology to his staff. unbelievable. Journalism is supposed to be fair and unbiased.”
For her part, McDaniel is understandably exploring her legal options given that she signed a valuable contract with the network.
