Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said that former President Donald J. Trump will once again be undermined by the Intelligence Committee, an admission of the politicized nature of agencies that have gone rogue.
With Trump closing in on the official status of the Republican party nominee after he curb-stomped establishment darling Nikki Haley on Super Tuesday, the deep state will be digging in by sabotaging the intelligence briefings provided to him, according to the scheming former head of the House Intelligence Committee.
The Democrat Senate hopeful appeared on Sunday’s edition of NBC’s “Meet the Press” where he discussed his big win in last week’s Democrat primary against Los Angeles Dodgers legend Steve Garvey as well as the latest political developments and he told host Kristen Welker that Trump shouldn’t expect to be treated honestly by the IC.

“Let me ask you about this development this weekend. U.S. intelligence officials are planning to provide briefings for Donald Trump once he – if he – officially secures the nomination, despite the fact that he’s facing 40 felony charges for his handling of classified documents. As the former chair of the House Intelligence Committee, do you think it’s appropriate for him to receive intelligence briefings?” Welker asked, setting Shiff up perfectly.
“Well, that is the practice. But we’ve never had a situation where one of the candidates for president has been so criminally negligent when it comes to handling – if not worse – when it comes to handling classified information,” the shifty congressman replied, with neither one of them mentioning Joe Biden’s own problematic handling of sensitive materials.
“So I have to hope, and knowing the intelligence community as I do, that they will dumb down the briefing for Donald Trump,” Schiff added, once again insinuating tht Trump is a pawn of Putin. “That is, they will give him no more information than absolutely necessary, nothing that would reveal resources or methods, because we can’t trust that he will do the right thing with that information. He’s been so reckless. So yes, it does concern me. It is part of a long tradition. They will be wary of what they share with him. And they should.”
Schiff’s remarks come after another Democrat, Barack Obama’s knuckle-dragging former top spook John Brennan went on MSNBC and called for the IC to abandon the practice of providing the briefings to the presidential nominee, something that has been customary for the last seven decades.
Now the CIA’s John Brennan is saying the “Intelligence Community” (read: Deep State) will refuse to share classified information with Trump.
The Deep State is not planning on sitting quietly by if a Trump victory looks possible, as it increasingly does.

“Now, I’m pretty certain my former intelligence colleagues will provide briefings that are not going to do any type of damage to sources and methods in terms of providing information to Donald Trump that he could misuse,” the former CIA boss told Nicolle Wallace aka the “Typhoid Mary of disinformation.”
“But they will provide analytic overviews about some of the hot spots letting Donald Trump know what the assessments are at this point,” the thuggish Brennan said. “I think it’s going to be analysis that will be devoid of the sources and methods, the sensitive things that we are most concerned about, the types of things that were in all those documents that he had in the bathroom and all those areas in Mar-a-Lago…And I’m sure that if he does accept them, he will disparage them, as he has disparaged U.S.”
It’s no wonder why over half of Americans now view the once widely trusted three letter agencies as enemies of democracy.
A recent survey by Rasmussen Reports shows that 52 percent of voters “believe it’s likely that U.S. intelligence agencies are seeking to control the outcome of the 2024 presidential election, including 31% who consider it Very Likely,” a result that indicates a growing skepticism about the real intentions of the agencies, a stunning collapse of public faith.
69% of Republicans and nearly half of Independents think it is likely US intel agencies are seeking to control the outcome of the election.
Even 38% of Democrats say it is likely. https://t.co/EN5rUqOO4O pic.twitter.com/9LQ3yUAFZX

According to Rasumussen, 64 percent of voters believe that intelligence agencies are influencing the media and that number has a lot of potential for growth, especially with Schiff, Brennan and others getting face time on TV to call for the open subversion of the traditional process.
