Ted Cruz: ‘Of Course’ Trump Committed Inappropriate Behavior Calling for Biden to be Investigated

The following article, Ted Cruz: ‘Of Course’ Trump Committed Inappropriate Behavior Calling for Biden to be Investigated, was first published on Big League Politics.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) threw President Donald Trump under the bus during an appearance with fake news reader Margaret Brennan on CBS’ “Face the Nation” on Sunday morning.

During his appearance, Brennan asked Cruz if it was appropriate for President Donald Trump to suggest that former Vice President Joe Biden’s son Hunter should be investigated for his shady deals with the Chinese government. Instead of standing firmly with the President, Cruz echoed the narrative pushed by the Democratic Party and deep state officials working to impeach him.

“Of course not,” Cruz responded, adding that “elections in the United States should be decided by Americans and it’s not the business of foreign countries to be interfering in our elections.”

Cruz is also calling for hearings where President Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani can be grilled by the Senate Judiciary Committee, indicating that he might be willing to cooperate with the witch hunt against the President.

“I don’t know what Rudy’s been saying, I do know that we should decide our elections,” Cruz said. “I think it’d make a lot of sense for Rudy to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee.”

Cruz also refused to endorse the Justice Department looking into Biden and his son’s crony dealings in Ukraine, China, and other foreign nations during his appearance on the program:

This is not the only time that Cruz has shown his true colors and denigrated the President to the fake news media recently.

Cruz appeared on stage next to MSNBC host Chris Hayes at the Texas Tribune Festival last month where he nodded along as Hayes blasted the President and his “America First” foreign policy:

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) has talked a good game since he was destroyed in the Republican presidential primary in 2016 by then-candidate Donald Trump, but he will sometimes show his true colors to remind Republicans why he grew to be so reviled during that election cycle.

His appearance at the third annual Texas Tribune Festival is a great example of that, as Cruz had a conversation with pencil-necked MSNBC fake news reporter Chris Hayes about why he thinks President Trump is making big foreign policy mistakes.

“I have real concerns about our policy in North Korea,” Cruz told Hayes.

“The President isn’t just saying, ‘I want to do a deal with them,’ which, again, I would favor,” Hayes responded.

“He’s actually saying, ‘He’s a great leader. I literally love him. He writes these beautiful notes, and I think he is a great, great leader for his country.’ It is a gulag state that every part of the American spectrum of political ideology agrees is one of the most ghastly, uh, mad scientist experiments of human subjugation on the globe,” Hayes said while Cruz sat there and nodded along.

While Cruz has often acted like as if is a supporter of Trump since getting crushed by him in the 2016 presidential primary, Cruz will show his true globalist colors while making appearances with the fake news media. He is reminding Trump supporters why they once called him “Lyin’ Ted.”
