A United Nations youth climate adviser has a history of social media posts that call for the destruction of capitalism, claim “terrorism” is used as a Western smear to justify its imperialism and attack White people for purportedly fueling humanity’s extinction vis-à-vis the climate crisis.
The United Nations’ Secretary-General António Guterres personally selected Pakistani-American Ayisha Siddiqa as one of his advisers to help “accelerat[e] the implementation of his climate action agenda,” a 2023 UN announcement stated. Siddiqa was a Time Woman of the Year in 2023 who has co-founded two youth climate activist organizations.
“The Secretary-General’s Youth Advisory Group on Climate Change provides him with practical and outcome-focused advice… and concrete recommendations, with a clear focus on accelerating the implementation of his climate action agenda. Convened under the auspices of the United Nations [as it]… works to accelerate global climate action,” the announcement said.
The report notes that Siddiqa describes herself as a “Climate Advisor to the UN General Secretary” in her X bio. But she is not just an environmentalist. Based on her social media posts, she has pushed radical agendas such as abolishing the police, espousing socialist ideals, sharing Marxist-themed and anti-capitalist content, and repeatedly denigrating White people.
In May 2020, she posted the following rant:
You want to know why I got into climate activism, it wasn’t because I wanted to protect the environment (although that is a very valid reason). I became involved b/c the West slaughtered, bombed and starved my people to death in the name of oil. And no one talks about it.

And before you say its more nuanced than that, that there are a great deal of political actors in play, I ask “who do you think is responsible for aiding, funding and escalating political instability in those regions? Who benefited from the spoils?
MENA and South Asia didn’t fall apart overnight. It happened after the West industrialized and needed Fossil Fuel (Renewable Energy) to function. Oil companies, share holders and governments affiliated with oil companies have the blood of millions on their hands.

In March 2021, Siddiqa wildly raged about “white supremacy” and claimed that “the white man has brought life as we know it, to the verge of extinction.” She wrote:
I am not an activist. I am a killjoy. I am what reminds white supremacy of it’s present day wretchedness. It is my job to make clear that in the process of killing and consuming non-white, non-male bodies, the white man has brought life as we know it, to the verge of extinction.

A series of posts in May 22 read:
When I say “man made” I don’t mean individuals I mean white supremacy with the aid of corporations is causing the climate crisis. And corps are not amorphous groups outside of responsibility; white ppl are the presidents & CEOs of these Fossil Fuel (Renewable Energy) companies and benefit from them.
The white man sits at the highest level of power in the world, the same way he has killed, looted and abused black and brown people for profit so has he the earth.
White supremacy would rather take everything and everyone (including white people) with it than give up its hold.

And before people bring up Saudi corps and other non-white ppl led mechanisms of destruction, yes white men are not alone in causing the climate crisis, they collude with other violent systems of power (like the Arab gulf) who hurt poor, black and brown people the most.
Governments of global south nations therefore are not off the hook for letting white supremacy run rampant, for allowing it to use poc to make more goods, to drill for oil, to build factories. They are agents of destruction against their own people.

In April 2021, Siddiqa wrote ranted against White people and Christians, and questioned why everyone fears Islam.
I think we need to have an critical discussion of why Islam is feared compared to other monotheistic religions. Why France, a nation deeply influenced by Christianity is playing the secular card to veil hatred. I think it’s b/c historically islam is not the white man’s religion.

France, England, Germany, and the U.S glorify their histories and origins by referring to the people they fought for their freedoms. Why is it that when non-white nations stand up against bombing, and pillaging of natural resources that they are immediately vilified.
and that vilification is attributed to an innate problem in their psyche, or concept of living known as religion. There is a reason why the phrase Islamic terrorism is only 60ish years old .This vocabulary was invented to justify covert Western imperialism.

Let us not forget the amount of people France displaced while occupying Algeria, let us not forget how Christian missionaries seeped into and tried to colonize Tunisia, Sudan, Mali, and Gambia, countries with long Islamic traditions and histories.

This is what #DEI looks like after grooming a child and sending her to the UN as an adult. 100% ideology of hate. Get it out of our schools!https://t.co/f5mqFu5CtN
