The father of an 11-year-old boy with autism boy has hit out at officials from his California middle school after he was allowed to run away from campus in the middle of a ‘meltdown’, resulting in him being handcuffed in the back of a patrol car.
According to his dad Trevor, Abraham Hibbert ran off from Endeavor Middle School in Lancaster on Monday after kicking a school worker while he was being restrained.

In a state of frantic emotion, Abraham was able to get more than one mile away from campus before he was spotted by officers from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
