REPORT: Democrat congressman scolds Lewandowski: ‘You are not on the campaign trail’

Democratic Rep. Hakeem Jeffries scolded former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski during his testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee on Tuesday afternoon.

The former campaign manager was combative when he was taking questions from Democrats on the Judiciary Committee and they returned the attitude.

The article goes on to state the following:

“Before I begin, let me remind you, Mr. Lewandowski, that this is not a Republican primary campaign. You are not on the campaign trail yet. This is the House Judiciary Committee. Act like you know the difference,” Jeffries stated.

According to an Axios report, Thomas Rath, an adviser for GOP presidential candidates, said, “Corey will use [the hearing] as part of the campaign. He will be confrontational to the Democrats. He will be totally loyal to Trump. And he will be playing to the right wing of the party who need to unite behind him in a primary.”
