WATCH: Son of 9/11 Victim Rips Ilhan Omar During Ground Zero Memorial Ceremony [VIDEO]

Nicholas Haros Jr. – whose mom died on 9/11, blasted Congresswoman Ilhan Omar during the annual Ground Zero anniversary ceremony on Wednesday for framing 9/11 as “some people did something.”

“Some people did something?” Nicholas Haros asked, pointing to his shirt as he took the mic Wednesday morning. “I am here to honor my mom, Frances Haros, on this solemn eighteenth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.”

Today I am here to respond to you exactly who did what to whom,” Haros said. After some applause, he continued. “Madam, objectively speaking we know who and what was done, there is no uncertainty about that. Why your confusion? On that day, nineteen Islamic terrorist members of al Qaeda killed over 3,000 people and caused billions of dollars in economic damage. Is that clear? But, as to whom? I was attacked. Your relatives and friends were attacked. Our constitutional freedoms were attacked. And our nation’s founding on Judeo-Christian principles was attacked. That’s what some people did! Got that now?”

Harros didn’t just rebuke Omar, he did it with conviction. This just shows how hurtful Omar’s comments were to people who truly suffered on that day. The quote on the shirt is from Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who used that description while speaking at an event for the Council of American-Islamic Relations in California. The full quote is below:

“Here’s the truth,” she said. “For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen. Frankly, I’m tired of it. And every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. CAIR was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties.”

Every September 11 in New York City, the victims’ loved ones read aloud the names of their brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, husbands and wives who perished that day. This year, one speaker did not let Omar’s shocking comment go unaddressed. Nicholas Haros Jr., who lost his mom, Frances Haros, in the attack, showed up to today’s ceremony with a shirt that read, “some people did something” and a message for the congresswoman.

Here was her only response:

The New York Times  report on the anniversary this morning read, “Eighteen years have passed since airplanes took aim at the World Trade Center and brought them down.” Airplanes, not terrorists.

The news outlet apologized and corrected the line following a hefty round of backlash. “Eighteen years have passed since terrorists commandeered airplanes to take aim at the World Trade Center and bring them down,” the controversial sentence now reads.

Haros’ ripping of the coward Omar continued: “We are here today, congresswoman, to tell you and ‘The Squad’ just who did what to whom. Show respect in honoring them, please! American patriotism and your position demand it. For God and country, amen.”

This is not the first time Nicholas Haros Jr. used the ceremony to call out members of Congress. Last year, Haros urged Democrats in Congress to stop “using the bones and ashes of our loved ones as props in your political theater.” Haros then cited several examples of Democrats and the media using 9/11 to attack Donald Trump, as well as his second Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.

God Bless Nicholas Haros Jr. for daring to stand up and tell the truth to Omar in such a public way. Those who died on 9/11 must be remembered and respected, and this horrific event in our nation’s history, caused by Islamic terrorists, must never be allowed to happen again.

Never Forget. Haros’ mom was 76 on the day of the attacks.
