1. Colorado could become the first state to build separate prison units for transgender felons:
Fox News – Colorado is poised to become the first state in the country with segregated holding cells for transgender women in prison, if a judge signs off on it.
After a class action lawsuit was filed by several transgender inmates in 2019 against the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC) alleging discrimination, harassment and assault, a judge is scheduled to rule on a consent decree that would bring further changes – including surgical sex changes and hormone treatment – to the state’s penitentiary, Fox News Digital has learned.
The consent decree, a court-ordered settlement in a legal dispute, would also require all transgender women currently or previously in CDOC to receive a $2.1 million payout, depending on the severity of the alleged assault, discrimination, and harassment while in prison. Rewards could range from $1,000 to $10,000 per plaintiff.
Denny’s Insight: Well, transgender people finally received what they asked for: special places just for them. Too bad for every normal taxpayer having to suffer for this.
2. ‘He has a gun!’ Video shows teen pull gun in spring break crowd on Florida beach:
WKMG – NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. – A 16-year-old was arrested on Thursday after deputies said he pulled a gun in a crowd of spring breakers at New Smyrna Beach.
According to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office, deputies were patrolling that area of the beach around 3:45 p.m. near Flagler Avenue, which is when they heard the crowd yelling. Some people began shouting “He has a gun!”

The Volusia Co. Denny’s Insight: I used to go to New Smyrna for spring break. The whole concept has been tarnished with these kids, making it unenjoyable for everyone else. Good on the cops for stopping this.
3. Trump on TikTok: ‘There’s a Danger to Banning it with Freedom of Speech’:
Breitbart – During portions of an interview with the Fox News Channel that took place on Thursday and was aired on Friday’s “Special Report,” 2024 Republican presidential candidate former President Donald Trump said “there’s a danger to banning” TikTok “with freedom of speech.” And “what can you do is, let them sell TikTok, let them sell it in the market, maybe get a good price, maybe not get a good price, I don’t know, but take it away from China control. But I think China controls Facebook,” as well.
Kurtz said, [relevant remarks begin around 2:30] “After the House voted to overwhelmingly ban TikTok if it doesn’t cut ties with its China-based parent company, Trump told Fox News why he no longer favors a government ban that he pushed as President on national security grounds, citing the free exchange of ideas.”
He then played a clip of Trump saying, “But there’s a danger to banning it with freedom of speech. I found Facebook to be extremely dishonest. And what would happen is, if you ban TikTok, if you take it away, we have a new concept, but if you take it away, those people are going to go into Facebook. And Facebook, in my opinion, was worse than TikTok by a lot.”
Denny’s Question: What are your thoughts on Trump’s take on the TikTok ban?
