A college professor has said that marriage advances “white supremacy,” and it is unclear how she can remember to brush her teeth given how objectively stupid she is, let alone be a college professor, but here we are.
“Marriage fundamentalism” advances “white supremacy,” according to a George Mason University professor.
“I theorize that marriage fundamentalism, like structural racism, is a key structuring element of White heteropatriarchal supremacy,” Professor Bethany Letiecq wrote in the Journal of Marriage and Family.
“Marriage fundamentalism can be understood as an ideological and cultural phenomenon, where adherents espouse the superiority of the two-parent married family,” she (pictured) wrote.
What does a “two-parent” household have to do with race? Because that has been the tradition for nearly all of humanity in all cultures.
Letiecq says the government has coerced “its citizens to enter into an institution built upon White heteropatriarchal supremacy.” Letiecq says marriage as an institution has allowed white heterosexual couples “to gain access to benefits, rights, and protections.”
Uhhhh… what?! Our founding documents say “all men are created equal.” Are white heterosexual couples not worthy of human rights? And does she believe that rights are dependent solely on skin color? Because that is exactly what it sounds like.
She cohabitates with her partner and their children “in a committed heterosexual union outside the institution of marriage.”
By living with her “partner” she is most definitely doing a lot to advance the cause of dismantling the institution of marriage. (Sarcasm). Without traditional families, society would cease to exist. Either she knows that and wants to live in a dystopia, or she is painfully stupid. And I think with this one it is safe to say she is mentally incompetent. Because that would only explain why she thinks such deranged and foolish things.
Letiecq concludes that only white heterosexual couples reap the social and financial benefits of marriage subsidized by the government while minority Americans do not gain any such benefits.
That makes absolutely no sense and there is no evidence to support such a ridiculous claim. But these people don’t use little things like reality or facts to back up their deranged ideology. Because if they did, then they would never open their obnoxious mouths.
Marriage increases quality of life and life expectancy, creates life and lifelong companionship, and is the fundamental backbone of all societies to have ever existed. But this professor thinks she is so important and so smart that her “theory” somehow discredits all of that. And on top of that, she provides no evidence to support anything she says.
It would be so much easier to drain people like her out except for the fact that colleges are a cesspool for minds like that. And unfortunately, she is probably on the brighter side in comparison to other professors.
