All It Took Was One Fact for Trump to Torch Ilhan Omar’s Career for Good

Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar continues to shoot herself in the foot.

She constantly makes ridiculous and insulting statements that lead to intense scrutiny.

And all it took was one fact for Trump to torch Ilhan Omar’s career for good.

Since taking office, it seems as though Ilhan Omar has done everything to infuriate Americans.

In her first major transgression, Omar took to Twitter to attack the state of Israel with anti-Semitic comments so vile that the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan called her “the most important member of Congress.”

And to not let down her anti-American base, she quickly doubled down by simply referring to the terrorist attack on 9/11 as “some people” doing “something.”

On top of all this, in recent weeks it has come to light that Omar allegedly married her own brother in order to commit immigration fraud, along with tax fraud.

So needless to say, Omar is making a mockery of the United States, while at the same time complaining about the country and the people who live in it constantly.

That’s why President Trump took to Twitter to take a jab at her, seeming to target her by mentioning politicians who come from different countries that are “corrupt” and “inept.”

Considering she is a Somali refugee that seems to hit the nail on the head, with the country barely having a government to begin with.

“So interesting to see ‘Progressive’ Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world … loudly and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run,” tweeted Trump. “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it’s done.”

Trump’s statements come on the heel of similar comments made on Fox News’ Tucker Carlson Tonight.

It is known that Trump watches Carlson’s show, making it very likely that Carlson gave him the inspiration for the harsh tweet.

In the segment, Carlson lists Omar as living proof of our immigration laws being dangerous.

He points out her seeming hatred of America, despite the fact that her family chose to flee from war-ridden Somalia to come to the United States.

“Omar isn’t disappointed in America. She’s enraged by it,” Carlson stated. “That should worry you, and not just because Omar is a sitting member of Congress. Ilhan Omar is living proof that the way we practice immigration has become dangerous to this country.”

Carlson continued calling Omar a “living fire alarm” about the dangers of unchecked migration.

Following Carlson’s comments, Omar called the Fox News host a “white nationalist,” and a “racist.”

So needless to say, the left is going after President Trump as well.

Following his tweet, the phrase “Racist in Chief” began trending on Twitter, with hateful leftists claiming that President Trump is a racist.
