Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) joined online ridicule of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for its now-viral tweet offering a “Boy Bye” phone wallpaper.
On Saturday the DNC tweeted, “This is a whole mood. Text ‘Boy Bye’ to 43367 to get this exclusive wallpaper,” and included an image that said “Boy Bye 2020” over President Trump’s face.
The article goes on to state the following:
Twitter users were quick to mock the seeming appeal to younger voters and Ocasio-Cortez responded Wednesday by saying, “Someone didn’t go to my Twitter class.”
