It’s full steam ahead for the shameless Fulton County District Attorney, Fani Willis.
Willis received a stern finger-waggle from Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee, who told her to either ditch her lover, Nathan Wade or remove herself from the election interference case she’s conjured against former President Donald Trump. Not surprisingly, the former special counsel resigned last week, empowering Willis to continue flaunting the “tremendous lapse in judgment” and “unprofessional manner” McAfee scolded her about.
“I don’t feel like we’ve been slowed down at all,” Willis told CNN in her first public comments since McAfee’s ruling.
“I do think that there are efforts to slow down this train,” she said, “but the train is coming.”

Willis is in no way embarrassed by her exposed tryst or allegations that she and Wade financially benefit from his position in her office. She believes her reputation is just fine.
“I don’t feel like my reputation needs to be reclaimed,” she stated. “I guess my greatest crime is I had a relationship with a man. That’s not something I find embarrassing in any way. And I know that I have not done anything that’s illegal.”
And despite that her racketeering case against the former president was delayed by two months over her actions, she says she and her team never missed a Trump-bashing beat.
“All while that was going on, we were writing responsive briefs,” she said. “We were still doing the case in the way that it needed to be done. I don’t feel like we’ve been slowed down at all.”
CNN cited “three people familiar” with Willis’s plans who say she “intends to ask the judge presiding over the Georgia criminal case to schedule a trial date as soon as this summer.”
But, as BizPac Review previously reported, Willis may not want to start counting her chickens just yet.
Earlier this week, McAfee ruled that Trump and eight other co-defendants can seek a review of his decision not to disqualify her.
The judge granted the defendants’ certificate of immediate review, finding it “of such importance to the case that immediate review should be had.”
“The challenged order is not one of final judgment, and the State has informed the Court that it has complied with the order’s demands,” McAfee wrote. “Thus, unless directed otherwise by an appellate court, supersedeas shall only apply to the order being appealed.”
“The Court intends to continue addressing the many other unrelated pending pretrial motions, regardless of whether the petition is granted within 45 days of filing, and even if any subsequent appeal is expedited by the appellate court,” he stated.
The flagrant lack of “remorse” exhibited by Willis has some on X calling for an intervention from Republican Georgia Governor Brian Kemp and Republican state Attorney General Chris Carr.
In a post directed at the duo, Mike Davis, former Chief Counsel for Nominations to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, told them to “Do your damn jobs.”
“Democrat Fulton County DA Fani Willis is expressing zero remorse. She’s even vowing to punish Trump,” Davis wrote. “Enough is enough. Do your damn jobs. And open a criminal probe on Big Fani now.”
Dear Georgia Governor @BrianKempGA and Attorney General @ChrisCarr_Ga:
Democrat Fulton County DA Fani Willis is expressing zero remorse.
She’s even vowing to punish Trump.
Enough is enough.
Do your damn jobs.
And open a criminal probe on Big Fani now.https://t.co/gQZDwR7bkR
