REPORT: House Democrat shares text exchange with son about impeaching Trump

Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-Pa.), a member of the House Judiciary Committee, on Tuesday called for Congress to launch an impeachment inquiry against President Trump, and shared a text message exchange with her son explaining what it means.

“Many of you probably have the same questions about #ImpeachmentInquiryNow as my son,” Scanlon tweeted. “I thought I’d share our text exchange.”

Earlier Tuesday, Scanlon released a statement declaring her support for impeachment proceedings to begin.
